Following the creation of the Vigiler platform, it provided the opportunity for Inlock platform customers to migrate to the new platform between 14 February and 20 April 2023. The migration was made possible through a public offer to migrate customer claims from the Inlock platform on a conditional basis.

As the completion of migration was conditional on the appropriate proportion of the balance, the platform enable the completion of migration as open-ended. As of today, the number of customers with pending migrations has been reduced to just a few dozen.

As of today, the platform is implementing the following changes for accounts with pending migration:

  • The service “Compensation from the reserve fund in the Vigiler Platform” as set out in point 7 of the public offer document can only be reserved for accounts created through migration, for which the migration is completed no later than 31 December 2024.
  • The “Compensational yield” service set out in point 10 of the public offer document can only be reserved for accounts created through migration for which the migration is completed by 31 December 2024 at the latest.

Notwithstanding the above, the Vigiler platform still does not intend to set a binding completion date for migrations that are currently pending. Customers can postpone this without any time constraints until the Inlock platform has completed the reimbursement of its customers. The extent of this will depend on the extent to which the Inlock platform is compensated.

The above decision does not directly disadvantage the customers concerned, as customers with a pending migration do not currently have a compensation balance, and are therefore not entitled to either a compensation yield or a release of compensation from the reserve fund. If the customers concerned decide that they wish to use these services, all they need to do is complete the migration by 31 December 2024 at the latest.
